WE EDUCATE PEOPLE

Gaye

"Being a Kindergarten teacher for 33 years, I never thought unproductive would be in my vocabulary, but being diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP) and ocular migraines left me feeling lost and apprehensive. After coming to the center, I found myself back in a leading role running our tech groups and teaching clients the ins and outs of the iPhone! By getting involved with the Garden Club and Event Planning Committee I am able to use my interests and hobbies to brighten the organization and add pep to client's everyday's routines.  I have noticed, since being at BCABVI, I have become more confident dealing with new situations and more optimistic for the future."
