Celebrate Memorial Day!

5/25/2020

Our Memorial Day celebrations may look different this year, but that doesn't mean we can't have fun with our family.  We've listed a few fun activities to do with the whole family while still social distancing and staying safe!
Make Homemade Popsicles
Pick your favorite fruit and mix up your favorite cold dessert for those hot summer days.  Our favorite?  Strawberry Cheesecake Frozen Yogurt Popsicles!

Tour the White House

You can't visit the White House, but you sure can tour it virtually! Click here for a virtual tour of historic home.  You'll learn facts about the architecture and events that took place in each room.

Write a letter to a solider and their family

Lets remind kids what Memorial Day is truly about.  Have them write a letter to active soldiers and veterans, and after drop the letters off to the local VA center or A Million Thanks drop-off location.
Watch a Movie
Maybe going to the movies isn't an option, but you can bring the theater to your home.  Watch a fun Summer-inspired movie like Grease or watch a patriotic film like The Patriot or if you're into Marvel superheros, Captain America.
