"For 25 years I was a minster helping others and guiding them through tough times in their lives. I never expected I would one day be looking for the same thing. I was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP) and found that I had a loss of independence when I could travel or go places. I needed a resource and went to the Low Vision Clinic for initial help. Before I felt I was discouraged from life and helpless, but after receiving help I felt hopeful for the future and comforted. I participate in the Adjustment to Blindness support group and most game days at the center. I get to interact with people who are motivating and impact lives everyday."
